Laura’s artistic career first began when she won first prize for a floral water color. From there she attended college, then joined Bucilla where she stayed for nine years creating needlepoint designs and perfecting her craft.

She has been designing for over 20 years with her work appearing in countless kits, magazines, leaflets and books.

Laura is currently a freelance designer for such companies as Sudberry House, and business owner working from her studio in her home in New York happily accompanied by her six cats. It is where she tends to her vegetable garden and dreams of all the flowers she wishes she had room to plant.

Laura's passion for gardening and love of camping and long country walks have inspired her imagination . Her appreciation for the rhythms of nature and ethereal colors of flowers influence and infiltrate her designs. She delights in bringing you jolly snowmen, playful cats , timeless florals and looks forward to sharing her designs with you in the months and years to come.
